Sous Chef

Key Responsibilities

• Assist kitchen leadership with recipe development and food preparation
• Supervise kitchen colleagues during preparation and service
• Monitor food inventory and assist with ordering and stock control
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen in line with food safety and hygiene standards
• Contribute to seasonal menu items
• Step in to guide sections or cover service as required

Requirements

• Experience at Chef de Partie level or above in a fine dining or high-end restaurant is beneficial
• Strong culinary technique, including familiarity with Mediterranean cooking styles
• Creativity in food preparation and menu contribution
• Good communication and leadership qualities
• A hands-on, collaborative approach to kitchen management
