About this role
As a Sous Chef, you will help lead the kitchen day to day, supporting recipe development and food preparation while supervising kitchen colleagues. This is a seasonal position (September/October).
Responsibilities
- Assist kitchen leadership with recipe development and food preparation
- Supervise kitchen colleagues during preparation and service
- Monitor food inventory and assist with ordering and stock control
- Maintain a clean, organized kitchen in line with food safety and hygiene standards
- Contribute to seasonal menu items
- Step in to guide sections or cover service as required
Requirements
- Experience at Chef de Partie level or above in a fine dining or high-end restaurant is beneficial
- Strong culinary technique, including familiarity with Mediterranean cooking styles
- Creativity in food preparation and menu contribution
- Good communication and leadership qualities
- A hands-on, collaborative approach to kitchen management
