About this role
As Sommelier, you will curate and manage La Petite Maison's wine program, guiding guests through pairings and leading wine education for the team.
Responsibilities
- Curate and manage the wine list to complement the menu
- Provide expert wine recommendations and pairings to guests
- Conduct wine tastings and education for both staff and guests
- Collaborate with the culinary team on food-and-wine pairings
- Manage wine and beverage inventory and storage
- Contribute ideas toward the ongoing development of the wine list
Requirements
- Proven experience managing a wine program in a fine-dining setting
- A recognized wine certification (such as WSET) is a plus, though not required
- Strong presentation and guest-education skills
- Excellent organizational skills for inventory and cellar management
- A warm, guest-focused communication style
