As Head Waiter, you'll take ownership of your section and mentor the floor team, setting the pace and standard for guest experience during every shift.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support the waiter team across assigned sections during service
- Manage table allocation, section flow, and service timing
- Step in to resolve guest concerns swiftly and professionally, escalating when needed
- Coach junior waitstaff on service standards, menu knowledge, and upselling technique
- Monitor service quality and consistency throughout each shift
- Support the outlet manager with opening and closing duties and briefings
Requirements
- Approximately 2-3+ years of relevant F&B service experience, including team coordination
- Strong professional working English
- Proven guest recovery and problem-solving skills
- Confidence coaching and motivating a floor team
- Strong knowledge of service sequence and etiquette standards
